I spent years building and running the systems behind live services at AWS, where going down was never an option. I learned that reliable software isn’t about heroics. It’s about decisions made early: how things are hosted, how changes are released, how problems are spotted and how quickly you can recover.
I started Hatcha in 2022 to bring that standard of engineering to businesses that can’t justify, or don’t want, their own technical team. When you work with Hatcha, you work with me and a small team of senior engineers, not account managers.

You deal with the engineers
The people on your first call design, build and host your project. We don't hand the work to a junior team or outsource it.

Prices you can plan around
You get a fixed, written quote or a monthly retainer agreed before any work starts, so the cost never comes as a surprise.

No lock-in
Your code lives in your repository and your hosting in a separate AWS account that can be detached from our organisation. You can take it elsewhere at any time, with full documentation.

We'll tell you if you don't need a build
If an off-the-shelf tool will do the job, we'll say so, even though it means we don't get the work.
